This course is a prerequisite to other INDCP courses (LIFE-H, MQE and IIP).

The HDM-DCP course allows participants to better understand the Human Development Model – Disability Creation Process (HDM-DCP) and the interaction between three conceptual domains in the field of disability: life habits, environmental factors and personal factors. It also provides knowledge of the different measurement tools that facilitate the use of the model in professional, research or advocacy activities. The course also leads participants to reflect on their role and responsibilities in the emergence of social participation and disability situations experienced by people with disabilities and their families.

This course is recognized by the OTSTCFQ.

The INDCP is a training organization accredited by Emploi Québec (no 0060672). 

Any course given by an instructor accredited by the RIPPH, and whose organization is registered with the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail, is recognized by the Act to promote workforce skills development and recognition. This law, known as the 1% Training Law, allows organizations to record expenses and receive compensation for the organization of courses and the working time of participants.
